Rowes Find

A nine-hole RC drilling program at Rowes Find, designed to confirm and extend to shallow depths gold mineralisation last drilled in 1991, successfully confirmed and extended the location and tenor of previous mineralisation.

Gold mineralisation is associated with a sheared mafic ‘raft’ in a structural sandwich between granites.  Mineralisation remains open at shallow depth beneath existing drill intercepts and along strike to the northeast.

While this previous drilling focused on shallow, potentially open pit extractable mineralisation, further drilling is planned to test the depth extent of high-grade mineralisation.

Harry’s Line mineralisation was not tested during previous drilling due to access issues relating to a new tenement application.  Access issues have subsequently been resolved and this mineralisation will be tested in the next round of drilling.

The current results provide the Company with sufficient confidence to commence JORC-compliant resources estimates.  High grade intercepts from recent shallow RC drilling at Rowes Find include:

  • 2 metres @ 22.48 g/t gold from 62 metres depth in RFRC034 and
  • 6 metres @ 5.92 g/t gold from 72 metres depth in RFRC029.

It is envisaged that the mineralisation currently identified may provide open pit material as mill feed for the gold production facility purchased by Integra in 2006.
