Solid Design
We offer rope shovels with solid designs for the heavy duties they will be undertaking. The equipment is optimised to perform well under fatigue and deliver even in high load circumstances. The rack and pinion system is also electrically motored with special controls, which allow the operator to adjust and improve digging power in the course of mining.
For sustained use, the crowd is designed to reduce the costs of maintenance while ruling out the potential for boom jacking. It does not end there, the ring gear is fatigue-resistant and can withstand a rise in payload. Stability as an integral issue is guaranteed using a twin-leg handle during the period of digging.

The Operator
Operators of our equipment can find equipment that takes confidence to high levels in our rope shovels. The controls are highly responsive and have a proven track record of consistency. To make it easier to monitor the components, the operator can access a graphical user interface that displays the operation of the shovel and information on its health.
The operator will also find the digging cycle more ergonomic than stressful as the seat is heated, there are controls for massage, a dual-position footrest, and sightlines that work very well for the driver of the equipment. All these exist with a view to upping the efficiency of the operator, reduce fatigue on the job and propel overall project delivery.
Similarly, control joysticks, signal horn switches and propel functions are all positioned within easy reach of the operator’s hands. Even as they are ergonomic and aim to reduce the strain that stems from repetition, they are nonetheless very efficient and enhance the output on the job. All-round are other control fixtures which make the work faster. For access, there are stairs which allow for swift boarding as well as assembly or otherwise.
Motor Control
Control aboard the rope shovel has been worked so that it is friendly to all kinds of activities. The control of torque is direct and is reputed to have the most dynamic output in the industry. Shovel performance is equally optimised to make for a fast rate of production, thus saving time. The AC drives are also air-cooled with modular and compact setups. Control of the neural network of more than five hundred nodes is done using Profibus, a superior fiber-optic cable network.
