Hard Rock Equipment
Innovative Designs
Mining occurs in far-flung depths of the ground; this makes it necessary that all the equipment used there is able to handle a host of different challenges. For old and emerging problems to be solved, there must be a touch of innovation and creativity.
In view of this, Komatsu offers a dynamic suite of hard rock mining equipment. These were developed due to our robust understanding of underground contingencies. To ensure that every one of them can be met with high end, productive and effective tools, we also work determinedly to upgrade all of our designs.
Durable
Working underground often means that there is limited access to all the opportunities that would otherwise be available on the surface. A lot of complications can also be invited by a continual breakdown of equipment and the maintenance that goes into them.
To minimise these attendant hassles, Komatsu hard rock equipment has been engineered to last for a very long time in the work cycle. All through the entire process of development, the central idea was the severe conditions under which this equipment would be required to keep up. Thus, when seeking tools for all climates, Komatsu is the best place to come.
Effective
Regardless of the intensity of the project for which equipment is required, Komatsu has a broad array to select from. Our equipment was made in keeping with the level of work for which they will be used. In breaking through particularly hard rock, these machines can function with little hindrance from fatigue and achieve the desired output in no time. We are well ahead in the industry in our fabrication of hard-core, rock-piercing equipment.
Here are some of our equipment and the different qualities which they possess.
Drifters
Montabert HC95: The HC95 is in the family of new generation Montabert drifters. It is developed to have an optimal lifespan and will certainly be an excellent addition to your drill rigs.
Montabert HC200: This variant has been made with an intentional focus on the level of its work. The HC200 is in the category of super heavy duty drifters. It is the ideal tool for boring holes with large diameters. It also has a very high rotation torque.
Montabert HC170: The 170 is a drifter made for heavy duties. It has a high rotation torque and is equally able to drill large diameter holes.
Feeds
Timberock Telescopic Feeds: The feed can be found in a variety of lengths, depending on customer requirements. There are lengths of six feet, eight, ten up until fourteen. It can also be customised with a number of different options, such as a hydraulic centraliser.
Timberock Fixed Feeds: Our fixed feeds are the kind that does not have much weight to pull around. They also do not incur much by way of the costs it takes to keep them in shape. The feeds also help to improve the performance of drifters by serving in a complementary role.
Similarly, we have hydraulic jumbo drills, which vary in terms of capacity and specifications. They have different boom coverages as well as different turning radii.
